This course continues building up students' English conversation skills from the beginner's class using simple idioms, role-playing and public speaking. Students will learn intermediate-level English pronunciation and also expand their speaking and listening skills.

Ashley Vargas
Ashley Vargas is a dedicated educator with a passion for languages and cultural exchange. With a TESOL certification and a master's degree in Linguistics from The University of Texas at El Paso, Ashley has honed her expertise in teaching English as a Second Language. Her experience as a substitute teacher and teaching assistant, working with learners of all ages, has equipped her well for her role as an English Language Institute instructor with UTEP's Professional and Public Programs.
