Learn fundamental principles of drawing, composition, mixing colors and their temperatures, values and--what is most important--how to see. By delving into the artistic realm, the mind will broaden and students will perceive reality from multiple perspectives and receive comprehensive guidance through the entire session. This is a 12-week course with classes that are two hours long, There is a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 16 students, and an additional $45 fee for this class.

ZoomRosario Ponte
Rosario Ponte is an El Paso artist who is originally from Venezuela. She specializes in portraiture, landscapes and still life. A graduate of the New Orleans Academy of Fine Arts, Ponte completed advanced studies at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. She has studied under nationally acclaimed artists Aleksander Titovets and Daniel Greene. Ponte has been painting for over 25 years and has won prizes for her oil paintings, which have been exhibited nationally and internationally.
