Discover how AI is transforming our world and why opinions about it are so divided. We'll explore how AI can be both a helpful companion and a potential threat and invite you to share your concerns as well as insights on where humanity goes from here. Kien Lim
Dr. Kien Lim is an associate professor at UTEP. He applies the teachings of the Buddha to his work as a math educator. He has published two articles: Using Equations to Think about Karma and Blending Mathematics Teaching with Kindness. He started an informal group for UTEP faculty and staff to meet regularly to cultivate kindness. He has been volunteering since 2015 at the Otero County Prison Facility to help inmates cultivate kindness and mindfulness.
