Join Phyllis for yoga designed for OLLI. What you won’t do: put your foot behind your head. What you will: 1) listen to your body’s wisdom; 2) practice yoga postures adapted for OLLI ages and bodies by your 84 year-old instructor; 3) build more strength, flexibility, focus and well-being; 4) counteract stiff joints, text neck, “dowager’s hump”, and even depression and anxiety; 5) learn breathing practices to enhance lung capacity, organ health and balanced emotions; 6) meditate in relaxation practices that conclude practice. Classes meet in Memorial Gym.

Phyllis Price
Phyllis Price has been a certified ashtanga yoga teacher since 1981. She has studied and taught various styles of yoga including vigorous ashtanga, vinyasa, chair, pregnancy, and cancer-survivor practices. She offers her classes at The University of Texas at El Paso, New Mexico State University, various El Paso clubs and studios, and also offers private classes. She is a registered E-RYT 200 (Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance) and LifeForce Yoga for Depression and Anxiety (LFYT) teacher, and has been an OLLI (Osher Lifelong Learning Institute) instructor since 2010.Date | Day | Time | Location |
