Intergenerational Bridges | My Life Story

Have you ever wanted to tell your story? The places you’ve lived, the people you’ve known, the adventures you’ve had? This is your chance! Each OLLI member will be paired with a member of Jay Stratton’s advanced contemporary acting class at UTEP. The assignment for the class is to interview you three times and learn everything about you: where you are from, what you value, the story of your life, and even how you walk and talk. Then they will turn you into a character and create two dramatic pieces about the story of your life.

For Professor Jay Stratton’s acting class, this is an exercise in character creation. They get to become you. For you, it’s a chance to tell your story and see that story become an theatrical event! This project is limited to 8 OLLI participants. Dates and times will be determined between OLLI participants and the assigned UTEP students.

Meeting dates and times are flexible depending on UTEP and OLLI student availabilty. Meetings will be determined by participants.
