In this fun camp we will use real science to study legendary creatures and compare them to their living counterparts that are around today. We will cover topics like vampires, aliens, ghosts, mermaids, Bigfoot, Frankenstein and the Loch Ness monster. We will also learn the science behind creepy, crystal ball bubbles, eerie smoke in a cup, screaming balloons, the decomposition of giant, oozing pumpkins and growing body parts in the lab.

Miners Hall
Grysell Ramos
Grysell Ramos received her bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences with a minor in Chemistry from The University of Texas at El Paso. She has been a lecturer at UTEP, as well as a laboratory and research coordinator, and has taught organismal/human biology, and vertebrate physiology methods. She has developed courses for P3 that focus on active student learning using hands-on activities; her classes are interesting and understandable.
